Hihihi it's been a while!

This is the last feature update before we exit beta!! Only bug fixes and other minor improvements will be added before our full release, which will involve a full database reset (for the last time ever!)

New features

Sample tags!

This is the big one! When uploading a sample, you can add any number of tags to your sample to make it easier to search for. Tags are used for the source of your sample, the person or character in it, the type of instrument it is, and many many more!

Discord embeds!

We've added Discord embeds to sample pages! If you send a sample link through Discord, it'll now let you preview it directly in Discord without having to open the page, making it more useful to send samples to others.

Anyone can upload! (in theory)

We've now got proper systems in place so that all users can upload, instead of a small set of manually approved users! This will remain disabled while we're in beta to make sure we're completely ready for those floodgates to open. Non-approved users will have their uploads stay private until they're manually approved by a mod.

Notifications!

As an extension of the above, we've added a notifications menu. You'll be notified when a sample you've uploaded is approved and made public on the site, or when a sample you've uploaded is denied or deleted.

Changes

Sample deletion added

You're now allowed to delete your own samples from the website, if you've changed your mind. Gatekeeper...

Email verification added

You now need to verify your email before being able to access most features on the site.

Privacy Policy and DMCA pages added

We're finally starting to become a more professional site :D

Improved design for sample editing page

The sample editing page looks a little cleaner now, and as a bonus, there's now a progress indicator for when you're uploading samples! Previously if you had a slow connection, it just looked like the site was doing nothing.
